Studies in Selichot with Rabbi Arielle (On zoom)

Selichot refers to the practice of singing penitential prayers in the days and weeks leading up to and through our Yamim Noraim (Days of Awe).  The poetry and evocative prayers of Selichot - both in Sefardi and Ashkenazi traditions - form a rich textual and musical tapestry intended to move our hearts towards the work of the High Holidays.  These sessions aim to provide preparation and grounding for our community’s practice of both our daily Zoom morning Selichot offerings and our community Selichot gathering on the evening of Sept. 28th. Whether you’re a long-time Selichot practitioner looking to deepen your understanding or a Selichot rookie looking to gain basic literacy, this space is for you!
